Andrea Bocelli - A Golden Globe winner and Grammy-nominated heir to the throne of such prestigious singers as Luciano Pavarotti and Placido Domingo, Andrea Bocelli first appeared on the 1995 version of Pavarotti and Friends --recorded in Pavarotti's hometown of Modena, Italy -- with Bryan Adams and Nancy Gustafson. His debut album Bocelli did well on European charts in 1996, and its follow-up Viaggio Italiano was equally successful. The 1997 album Romanza was his breakout, selling over ten-million copies and earning him a duet with Celine Dion on "The Prayer."
